Once the move settled, came the stage that, in my view, separates people who relocate from people who structure: today I have my offshore company and my Private Interest Foundation set up here, organizing the whole succession plan.

Why it matters

When I am no longer here, my heirs will find it easy to carry on the legacy I am leaving — no probate saga, no court holding assets for years. The succession rules are written by me, in life, my way. That kind of organization is far more complicated — and more expensive — to build in Brazil.
